“Khao Kaep” is a local food of the Lablae people that is believed to have been around for over 200 years. It is a thin, white, transparent sheet similar to plastic. Khao Soi is a native food of the northern part of Thailand. It was originally called Kuay Tiew Hor. It looks like noodles in a soup with spicy curry paste and side dishes such as pickled mustard greens, red onions, seasonings such as fried chili, oil, lime juice and fish sauce.
Sai Oua is one of the traditional food menus of the northern people that has used the method of food preservation since the past by mixing pork with herbs and stuffing it in the intestines. Then grill or fry it until cooked until fragrant. This menu is not only delicious but also has high nutritional value. It is suitable to eat with sticky rice or fresh vegetables.
Gaeng Hoh or Kua Hoh is a northern Thai dish that combines many different dishes. In the past, leftover food was eaten and seasoned to taste.
